Jewish Heritage Month

Featuring the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs & Canada's Ambassdors to the United Nations and Israel

The festival celebrates Jewish music, as well as the Jewish contribution to genres of music not generally thought of as Jewish. Programs include Sephardic and Klezmer, Holocaust music and Israeli pop, Broadway and Hollywood, Chassidic Nigunim and Yiddish Theatre, Jazz and Big Band, Cantorial, folk, gospel and more. The festival is hosted by many Toronto organizations for the benefit of the entire community. All daytime events are free, and many of the Gala Evening Concerts benefit Toronto synagogues or local charities.
